Chandanavelly Industrial Park

 1. Ester FilmTech Limited

   a. Set up an advanced polyester film manufacturing facility

   b. The total investment of the entire project is approximately INR 1350 crores in three phases

   c. Implementation of first phase with a capital outlay of INR 500 crores is scheduled to be completed by third quarter of calendar year 2022

   d. This project will create direct employment potential for about 800 people.

   e. The end products of the proposed unit will find its applications in the packaging material and will help contributing towards strengthening the value chain of flexible packaging industry

   f. The Company proposes to export 30-40% of its production, which will help to establish Telangana’s footprint on global flexible packaging map.

   g. The company currently exports about 30% of its production of Polyester Films with sales and distribution network in more than 56 countries across the world resulting in strong customer relationship.

   h. Specialty Polymers are manufactured primarily for the US and other overseas markets.

   i. Products: Milo, Nescafe, dastan

 2. Katerra:

   a. Katerra was an American technology-driven off-site construction company.

   b. The company manufactured large building components off-site, particularly for multi-family housing.

   c. For example, the company would fabricate an entire wall (including windows) off-site for final assembly on site at a construction project.

   d. The technique allowed lower cost and the company claimed higher-quality finishes.

   e. Katerra was known for its use of mass timber construction and its manufacture of mass timber products such as glued laminated timber and cross-laminated timber.

   f. Katerra is setting up a manufacturing plant for building components in Hyderabad with an investment of $100 million.

   g. The nearly 1.3 million sq. ft. facility, to come up on 50 acres on the city outskirts near the airport, would create over 1,000 jobs and is expected to be ready by March 2020

   h. It would deliver eight million sq. ft. of building components through robotic assembly line production, some of which the company plans to export too.

   i. Katerra breaks ground on its first fully-integrated off-site manufacturing plant in Hyderabad

   j. This will be Katerra’s second factory in India after its factory at Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu.

 3. Welspun Flooring Ltd.

   a. Welspun has set up in Hyderabad at Chandanvelly-350 acres (Welspun flooring: 200 Acres, Welspun Advanced Textile: 100 Acres and Welspun Crop: 50 Acres)

   b. This facility will create over 12,000 direct and indirect jobs in total

   c. They invested Rs.2,000 Cr, and they plan to invest Rs.3000 Cr to 5000 Cr in next 5 years

 4. AWS (Amazon Web Services)/ Amazon Data Center

   a. AWS has set up in Hyderabad at Chandanvelly - 33 acres, FAB City (Raviryal) - 50 acres and Pharma City – 33 acres.

   b. Amazon Web Services will be investing a total of Rs 36,300 crores ($4.4 billion - phased manner) in the state by 2030.

   c. 48,000 full-time jobs in three Centres.

 5. Microsoft

   a. Microsoft is investing 32,000 Cr. In Two Phases

   b. Microsoft has set up in Hyderabad at Chandanvelly - 53 acres,Shadnagar(Elikanta) - 41 acres and Mekaguda – 22 acres

   c. They will create total 30,000 jobs in 3 Centres.

   d. Phase-1 in 3 centres with Investment of Rs.16,000 Cr. and
Phase-2 in 3 centres with Investment of Rs.16,000 Cr.

 6. CtrlS

   a. CtrlS has set up in Hyderabad at Chandanvelly 40 Acres

   b. CtrlS is Investing 650 Cr. to setup data center.

   a. Airtel-Nxtra data center – 2000 Crores investment, 40 Acres is allocated

   a. Aliaxis group Company Ashirvad Pipes is investing 500 crores in setting up a greenfield facility to make plastic pipes, fittings and accessories in 25 Acres and creating 500 Jobs

   a. Kundana Techno Tex is investing 200 crores for it recycling unit in 36 acres and providing 500 jobs
